Remembering the Encores

I promise I'll be back with concert coverage soon.  For now, some of what I've been listening to recently. Ke$ha / C'mon "I don't wanna think about/ What's gonna be after this/ I wanna just live right now" I'm a Levanduski.  We avoid.  It's what we do. Phillip Phillips / Gone, Gone, Gone I feel like I've repeat songed like half of this album.  But, this song is, a little bit, a thing that is wrong with me.    Unwavering devotion?  Inability to let things and people go?  Check and check.  Gorgeous song though! Connie Britton & Charles Esten / No One Will Ever Love You (Nashville Soundtrack) This is one of my favorite new shows this year and this song slays me.  (Also, Deacon?  He's the same guy that was Jim, Andy & Karen's boss at the Stamford branch of Dunder Mifflin.  That kind of blew my mind.) 8pm Why is Taylor Swift co-opting Brit Brit's Circus tour costumes?  Also, that bunny is creepy.  She sounds better than she usually does live though, so there's that.  And, are those clowns with clown hand puppets?  Yes, Tay-Tay, we know.  You're a big deal. (On a side note, I love her song 'Trouble' so much.  But, narratively, wouldn't it have made sense to release 'Trouble' before 'Never Ever...'?) Oh LL Cool J.  I'm liking the hometown shout outs.  Plus, the signature Kangol hat. The lights hanging in the theater look like the lights that Mumford & Sons used during their summer tour. My favorite thing so far?  Panning to all the unimpressed celeb faces in the crowd. Grammys for Grammy!  Aww, LL, that's adorable. Oh Adele, I love you so much.  You may need a new stylist.
